Kudos to Manhattan on a well-played match” said Coach Pitman. “We showed tonight that we have the potential to play with any team in the conference, and Coach Ruter and I are excited to see what we will accomplish in the month of October.”

Emmaus Soccer Men Earn Gutsy Win Versus Faith Baptist September 28, 2016 “I was super proud of the guys and the way they fought today. I know Faith has been a bit beat up and they have some players nursing some injuries, but that doesn’t take away from how well our guys played. They wanted this game today and their efforts clearly paid off.

Volleyball Captures Victory on the Road September 24, 2016 “We are still not running “Plan A” for our team, due to various circumstances, such as injuries, that are beyond our control,” commented Coach Pitman. “I appreciated the effort tonight as we had players get out of their comfort zones a bit. We are only going to be strong and competitive if we are unified, so every match we need to challenge ourselves to do our best and handle whatever circumstances come our way.

Fierce Battle Sees Eagles Come Up Just Short Against Grace U September 17, 2016 “I was incredibly proud of the ways our guys handled themselves today. The guys kept their heads despite bearing the brunt of 23 fouls and for long portions of the match looked like the stronger team. There was no quit in our guys and when they settle in they can be really dangerous. Once again, I wish the score line was different, but I can’t question the team effort of these young men today. I was glad to be coaching my side!” (Coach Brown)

Lady Eagles Split First MCCC Contests September 17, 2016 “We started slowly against Barclay and did not generate much emotion on our side of the net,” said Coach Pitman. “Neutral site matches are sometimes tough for us in this regard, but I was pleased how we pushed ourselves to pick up the intensity to finish in three sets.”
