DUBUQUE, IA – Junior setter Hannah Postma earned the 2000th assist of her collegiate career this past Saturday in the MCCC championship match. Fittingly, Postma's milestone assist came from a kill by teammate Alli Howard; the setter and outside hitter are in their third season together.
"Setting is a very hard job, and Hannah has put in a lot of effort to continually improve her game," said Coach Pitman. "Hannah is a team focused player and will be the first to give credit to her hitters, but we are proud of her and want to recognize the large impact she has had on our team these past three years."
Postma's career assist total is currently 2046. Earlier in the season Hannah also became the Lady Eagles' all-time assist leader, surpassing Shannon Shelley's ('13) total of 1451.
