Emmaus Impact Golf Classic

The 3rd annual Emmaus Impact Golf Classic hosted by the Talon Club and presenting sponsor, The Life Group, featured a record number of golfers on Monday, May 18 at The Meadows Golf Club in Asbury, IA.

The Emmaus Impact Golf Classic welcomed 64 golfers on a beautiful day for fellowship, food and golf in support of Emmaus Athletics. The event was also bolstered by the support of 10 event sponors with proceeds from the event going towards strategic enhancements of Pollard Fieldhouse, including new scoreboards in the main gym and upgraded equipment in the auxilary gym. 

The day opened with a presentation from Emmaus athletic director, Chris McHugh, highlighting the accomplishments of Emmaus Eagles athletes, coaches and teams during the 2025-26 year, along with sharing updates about athletic facility projects.  Guests enjoyed a catered lunch before heading outside to join their teammates for a day on the links. 

The Emmaus Impact Golf Classic competition featured a 4-person team scrammble. Individual competitions during the round include "Closest to the Pin", "Longest Drive", and "Longest Putt." Following the round, guests were treated to a Chck-fil-a box meal, as the team and indivual awards were presented.  

Emmaus Athletics sends a sincere THANK YOU to all those who participated in this year's event, and looks forward to welcoming new friends, family and alumni to the course in May 2027!
