Ankeny, Iowa — The Eagles make history for Emmaus Men's basketball!

February 14, 2025 - Emmaus 89, Manhattan 92

Emmuas started their weekend off in a close matchup against Manhattan Christian College. 

Taydem Arguello had a game-high 32 points, going 12-for-13 from the free-throw line and grabbing 11 rebounds while also adding 5 assists and a block. Nash Harper contributed a strong all-around performance with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal!

Eli Mackey scored 14 points and added 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block, while Josh Stewart provided a spark off the bench with 16 points, including a pair of threes.

February 15, 2025 - Emmaus 89, Barclay 66

Emmaus bounced back in a big way on Saturday, capping off the doubleheader weekend with a dominant 89–66 win over Barclay in Ankeny, Iowa. The Eagles were firing on all cylinders—hitting 15 threes, dishing out 23 assists, and dominating the glass with a 43-rebound performance. The win marked a strong finish to the weekend!

When Head Coach, Philip Parker, was asked about the game, he said, "History made! Emmaus picks up their 14th win of the season to set the single season record!

Proud of our team. We stuck it out and stayed together. We played our game and controlled it from the tip off. 4 guys scored in double figures led by Nash's double-double of 16 points and 18 rebounds. Thankful for this team and what they have accomplished. The job's not done with the MCCC tournament next week! Go Eagles!"
