Eagles Bounce Back Against FLBC
Eagles Win to Move Back up to .500

The Emmaus University men's basketball team delivered one of its most complete performances of the young season on Saturday afternoon, defeating Free Lutheran Bible College 85–61 inside Pollard Fieldhouse. With the win, the Eagles evened their record at 3–3 and showcased a balanced attack and improved defensive intensity.
The Eagles controlled the game from the opening tip, building a 34–22 halftime lead before exploding for 51 points in the second half. The Eagles shot an efficient 47.2% from the floor and assisted on 26 of their 34 made baskets.
Josh Stewart led Emmaus with 17 points, knocking down five threes and adding five assists. Sophomore forward Colten Dobrodt provided a huge spark off the bench, going 6-of-7 from the field and finishing with 15 points. Fellow reserve Noah Simiskey also reached double figures with 15 points, including two triples.
Inside, Savion Edwards set the tone physically, recording an 11-rebound performance to go with 9 points and 2 steals. Ethan Cox engineered the offense with precision, dishing out a game-high 11 assists while adding 6 rebounds and 3 steals. David Rothweiler and Lance Hall Jr. combined for 11 more points as the starters provided steady two-way production.
Emmaus finished with a +14 advantage on the glass (44–30) and forced 19 FLBC turnovers, converting them into transition opportunities and efficient possessions.
Up Next: The Eagles will travel to Ankeny, IA (Home of the Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles) to face Manhattan Christian College on Friday, November 5, at 3:00 PM.
