Soccer Schedule Set for 2025
Emmaus Men's Soccer unveils their 2025 schedule, highlighting a promising season filled with several exciting matchups. 2024 was a big year for the Eagles, achieving a 10-7-3 record while being ranked as high as #5 in the NCCAA. Lead by upcoming senior forward, Jake Matte, the Eagles bring back a talented squad including All-American junior goalkeeper, Tucker Kapas, and junior midfielder, Bennett Kreiner.
The upcoming season kicks off with the home opener on Saturday, August 23, as the Eagles welcome Trinity Bible to Dubuque for an early afternoon match. This will be the two program's first meeting since 2022.
September features a challenging slate of road games, including trips to Ripon College and a Kansas swing against conference rivals Manhattan Christian and Barclay College. The Eagles return home for a double-header homecoming weekend against Midwest Region foes Kuyper and Great Lakes Christian on September 26–27.
The October stretch is packed with key conference and region matchups, starting with a stretch of 5 home games that include region rival Maranatha Baptist on the 2nd, and in-state foe Faith Baptist on the 7th. The Eagles will round out October with road trips to Central Christian in Missouri before heading to Wisconsin to face the Maranatha Sabercats once more.
Postseason action begins October 31 at the Midwest Christian College Conference Men's Soccer Tournament in Haviland, KS. The next week sees the Eagles heading to Michigan for the NCCAA Regional Tournament in Lansing November 6-8.
