Strong Free-Throw Shooting Highlights Emmaus' Effort

Dubuque, Iowa — The Emmaus Eagles put together a strong showing at the free-throw line and fought hard on the boards in a home matchup against Kuyper, ultimately falling 71-53.

Erin McKenna led the way with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists while going 9-of-11 from the charity stripe. Rachel Barrett added a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, also shooting a perfect 8-for-8 from the line. Madeline Wiest contributed 11 points, including three makes from beyond the arc.

Emmaus shot 82.6% from the free-throw line and pulled down 39 rebounds, showing resilience on both ends of the floor.
