Emmaus Comes Up Just Short in Road Matchup at Mount Mary

Milwaukee, Wisconsin — The Emmaus Eagles battled hard on the road Tuesday, coming up just short in a 58-54 loss to Mount Mary University.

Erin McKenna paced the Eagles with 18 points, while Rachel Barrett and Madeline Wiest each added 14. Barrett also grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 6 assists, while Wiest pulled down 6 boards and recorded 2 assists. Jenna Lostutter led the rebounding effort with an impressive 19 rebounds, including 16 on the defensive glass. The Eagles outrebounded Mount Mary 49–35. Despite a strong team performance and solid rebounding advantage, Emmaus couldn't overcome late-game execution by the Blue Angels.
