Eagles Move Above .500 After Drubbing of FLBC

The Emmaus Eagles delivered their most complete performance of the young season on Saturday afternoon, overwhelming Free Lutheran Bible College 83–38 inside Pollard Fieldhouse. With the win, the Eagles improved to 3–2 behind efficient scoring, active defense, and excellent ball movement.
Emmaus set the tone from the opening tip, racing to a 25–8 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. The Eagles shot 46.4% from the field while holding the Conquerors to just 20.8% shooting on 15-of-72 attempts.
Rachel Barrett powered the Eagles with a dominant double-double, posting 20 points (10-of-16 FG) and 13 rebounds while adding four assists and four blocks. Amelia Mackey continued her strong stretch of play, filling the stat sheet with 16 points, five rebounds, and six assists.
Sophomore guard Hanna Kreiner was lethal from deep, knocking down five three-pointers en route to 15 points, while Aubry Silva added 14 points and four assists. Erin McKenna anchored the defensive effort with seven rebounds, five assists, and 2 steals.
Off the bench, Leilani Pierre and Madeline Wiest provided a spark, combining for 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Emmaus' ball movement was a standout factor, as the team recorded 26 assists on 32 made field goals. The defense was equally impressive, forcing 22 turnovers and holding Free Lutheran to single-digit scoring in three of the four quarters.
