Emmaus University edged CCCB 81–79 on the road, holding off a late rally to improve to 6–3 overall and 2–0 in MCCC (Conference) play.
The Eagles built a strong first-half cushion, scoring 55 points over the opening two quarters to take a 55–33 halftime lead. Central Christian responded with a big second half, outscoring Emmaus 46–26, but the Eagles made enough plays down the stretch to secure the win.
Marina Keck led Emmaus with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds, going 9-for-10 from the free-throw line, and delivered the game-winning layup with 4 seconds left!
Aubry Silva added 18 points, knocking down three triples, while Amelia Mackey chipped in 16 points. Rachel Barrett posted a well-rounded performance with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals, and Erin McKenna added nine points and eight rebounds.
Emmaus shot 43.3% from the field and outrebounded Central Christian 41–35, using balanced scoring and timely free throws to seal the victory.
