Eagles Volleyball Signs Cummins
Beverly Cummins of Pflugerville, TX, has signed her letter of intent to join the Eagles Volleyball program.
A homeschool graduate, Beverly played for the Texas Fury volleyball club. She becomes the third newcomer for the up-and-coming Eagles Volleyball squad.
"I am super excited to attend Emmaus Bible College because I believe that I will thrive in the community and meet many new friends, deepen my relationship with God, and learn more about Him," said Cummins. "I look forward to getting to know each of my teammates and developing a strong connection with them! I am really excited to glorify God through this sport alongside all the wonderful girls He has blessed me with as friends and teammates."
"Bev embodies who the Emmaus student-athlete is," commented Coach Richter. "She loves Jesus and is a light to be around, so she is a great fit not only for our team but Emmaus as a whole. In terms of volleyball, she brings a high IQ and a lot of needed versatility. We can't wait to have her on campus."
Emmaus is a fully-accredited four-year college offering more than 30 professional and ministry-related academic programs. Emmaus athletic teams compete in the NCCAA Division II and the Midwest Christian College Conference.
