Emmaus Sweeps Grace in Straight-Set Victory
October 11, 2024 – Wyoming, MI – Emmaus showcased an impressive performance against Grace, winning in straight sets (25-20, 25-22, 25-22) in a match that highlighted the team's strong offensive and defensive efforts.
Emmaus started strong in the first set, taking control early and maintaining their lead, winning 25-20. The second set proved competitive as Grace pushed back, but The Eagles remained composed, securing the set 25-22. In the final set, Emmaus maintained their momentum, again closing out the set 25-22 to seal the match.
Kaitlin Rahn led the charge with a remarkable 19 kills, contributing significantly to the team's total of 27 kills. Kaylee Goertzen also made her mark, hitting .500 with three kills. The Emmaus defense was equally strong, with a total of 44 digs, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining control throughout the match. Michelle Striley also shined with 16 Assists and 5 digs. Emmaus looks forward to continuing their success as they prepare for the next challenge.
